Shanti Karuna is a non-profit organization that supports projects in India, Nepal, and other countries in the Global South. The organization is particularly committed to education, peace, and justice.
At the heart of our work is currently the Shanti India School in Bodhgaya, India. There, more than 800 children from the poorest families in one of India’s poorest regions receive a good, free education up to secondary level. Sponsored students also receive support to continue their higher education in their chosen fields. The school relies on donations.
